This izakaya serves Oita's local cuisine in Funaimachi, Oita City. The name "KOTSUKOTSU AN" comes from an old folk song "Kotsukotsubushi" that has been handed down in Hita City, Oita. We will continue to provide high class and local flavor like ”Kotsukotsubusi” with our cuisine.
Our fish, meat and vegetables are locally caught in Oita and these ingredients are prepared as soon as possible. We try our best to provide you with the freshest ingredients.
Also, we hope you will enjoy the 300 bottles of sake and shochu from the brewery that has been a part of our business since its foundation, the jukebox of the first owner's secret collection, the enameled signboard, and antique radio.
